General Service Information

Do you offer a free next day delivery service?

AssureHome Delivery service is currently available in the Greater Toronto Area; next day delivery service is offered free of charge to eligible patients. We plan to extend the service to other regions in the near future. If you do not live in an area currently served, you will be asked to choose a different delivery option when placing the order.

    • Delivery of orders placed before 2 p.m. the same day, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
    • Weekend delivery

  • Expansion of services to other metropolitan areas is planned, beginning with Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, and will continue to other areas as appropriate.

How is the delivery process?

If you live in the current service area, AssureHome Delivery will automatically appear as a delivery option when placing the order online. If you order over the phone, the customer service representative will offer it to you. Once the order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email. When the order is shipped, you will receive an email including a tracking number. You must order before 9 p.m. to be eligible for next day delivery.

Next day deliveries are scheduled between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. You will receive a telephone confirmation 15 minutes before the driver arrives. A signature attesting to the age of majority will be required, but can be provided by anyone at the address given at the time of delivery.

What are your usual delivery times?

AssureHome Delivery offers next day delivery in the Greater Toronto Area. We deliver from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday. Any order received online or by phone after 9 p.m. will be delivered the next business day. Any order received on Friday will be delivered the following Monday.

What happens if I place an order with delivery by AssureHome Delivery after 2121 at 9 p.m.?

Orders placed after 9 p.m. will be processed the next business day. Thus, these packages will be delivered between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the second working day following the order.

What are your delivery hours during the holidays?

AssureHome Delivery is a delivery service available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders associated with AssureHome Delivery placed before 9 p.m. on a normal working day are delivered between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the following working day.

In which areas is next day delivery available?

Next day delivery is available to patients in service areas within the GTA (provided their address is not a PO Box). Please see our service area map and enter your postcode into our service availability checker. If AssureHome delivery is available, the option will appear at checkout.

Can you deliver to an address different from the one on my file?

AssureHome Delivery Service offers door-to-door delivery to the official address on file with your Emblem ONLY, as long as it is not a PO Box (in which case you will be asked to choose a different delivery method ).

Is delivery to my home safe and confidential?

All of our couriers have gone through a rigorous screening process and RCMP background check. Packages are delivered directly to our patients by professional drivers.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes. Once your package has been shipped, you will receive an email including tracking information.

Receipt of the package

Does the delivery vehicle bear logos identifying the company?

No. All of our delivery people drive unmarked vehicles.

How will I know it’s an official release?

All of our professional drivers will identify themselves as an AssureHome delivery person.

Do I have to present an identity document to the delivery person?

As a rule, this is not necessary. Delivery people can ask to see ID if they think the person accepting the package is under the age of majority.

Does the delivery process remain the same during the COVID-19 crisis?

We have taken the following temporary measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Delivery people wear protective clothing;
  • The delivery people call 15 minutes before the delivery, in accordance with the usual protocol;
  • The delivery people will drop off the package at your doorstep, ring the bell and step back 2 meters;
  • The deliverers will ask for the date of birth of the person receiving the package to confirm that they are of legal age;
  • The delivery people will write the initial of the first name and the last name of the person receiving the package, then write “COVID” on the signature pad, in the name of the person accepting the package;
  • The deliverers will mark the delivery as “complete”.

Will my order arrive in discreet packaging?

Orders are processed in bulk daily and usually arrive in the same discreet, carefully curated packaging.

Repair

My order did not arrive when expected.

It is important that you contact us as soon as possible if there is a problem with your delivery.

My order is incorrect or some items are missing/damaged.

We are happy to resolve any issues related to receiving medical cannabis products or accessories. Please email our Customer Service team at Support@AssureHomeDelivery.com or call us at 1-833-277-8730 (1-833-ASSURE-0) between 7am and 10pm (EST) , from Monday to Friday.

I can’t be home to receive my order, but someone else will be there. Can this person receive my order for me?

Yes. Any adult at the delivery address can sign and accept your package.

I can’t be home to accept my package. What will happen?

If no one is there to receive your package, our driver will leave a notice at your door and try to deliver it later, either the same day or the next day. The driver will attempt to deliver the package up to three times, after which the package will be returned to sender.
